Recombinant human monoclonal antibody against proto-oncogene; c-Myc and other c-Myc tagged proteins. This product is produced in Nicotiana benthamiana plants and is suitable for Western Blot and ELISA applications. It is fused to HRP, allowing applications such as Western blots, Dot blot and ELISA to be performed in a single incubation step.

C-Myc is a 62 kDa transcription factor known for its role in cell division, differentiation, and apoptosis. Altered c-Myc expression is associated with tumor formation and is required for vasculogenesis and angiogenesis within tumor tissue.

PtX™ Human Anti-c-Myc (HRP), CBT_A0070, detects c-Myc protein, as well as c-Myc-tagged recombinant proteins, and has been validated for use in WB and ELISA.
